We're not letting them off the hook!

In the 2013 legislative session Tenants Together sponsored SB 603 to help victims of tenant security deposit theft. On May 7th, in an impressive show of force, dozens of tenants took to the capitol to lobby the Senate for its passage. However, on May 29th the Senate refused to support the bill. Why do these Senators feel it's not important that tenants are losing thousands of dollars every time they move?
